World Humanitarian Day and opening of free clinic
Above are some pictures from the health screening event at the National Humanitarian Day 2019. We partnered with Pathway Impact Foundation, Abuja and Rotary Club, Abuja.
We ran an event over 3 days which included health education seminars for local residents of the six villages in Guzape Asokoro Abuja, followed by health screening for hypertension, diabetes and hepatitis B.
Our partner Pathway Impact Foundation generously supplied over 500 hepatitis B vaccines and vaccinated eligible persons. It also marked the opening of a free clinic for that locality which operated till December 2023. Antimalarial treatments were also given en masse.
Just a Meal Project in collaboration with Camomile Cares USA
Every Saturday, we provide home cooked meals to children from less privileged backgrounds. Children are also engaged in different activities such as learning to pray, sing and health educational activities.
We currently cater to a group of 50 children; this number increases weekly.
